TITLE : KAYPRO INSTALLATION USING TINST
Before using TURBO PASCAL on your Kaypro, it is necessary to
install it using the TINST program.
1. Place a CP/M disk in Drive A.
2. Place your Turbo Pascal working diskette in Drive B.
3. Re-boot your computer.
4. A CP/M version number will appear at the top of the screen.
If you are using CP/M 2.2G, you will need to perform a few
tricks (described below) to correctly install Turbo Pascal.
NOTE: If you are not using version 2.2G, follow the installation
instructions in your Turbo Pascal Reference Manual.
To install the CP/M-80 VERSION 2.2G implementation of Turbo
Pascal on your Kaypro:
1. Change the logged drive to B.
2. Run TINST
3. Select "S" for screen.
4. Choose the Kaypro terminal.
5. Answer "Y" to "Do you want to modify this definition (Y/N)?"
6. Do not make any changes; instead press <RETURN> in response
to each question.
7. Answer "Y" to: "Is this definition correct (Y/N)?"
8. Enter 4 MHz for delays.
9. Select "C" for command and scan through all of the command codes
without making any modifications.
10. At the main menu, type "Q" to return to CP/M.

You have now installed Turbo Pascal for your terminal. You can
verify this by typing TURBO. The terminal type displays on the
welcome screen.
NOTE: Perform the above procedures are necessary in order to
use GINST (part of our Turbo Database Toolbox package).
